Chris Salvino is the CEO of Lunar Helium-3 Mining (LH3M), leading the world’s first effort to extract helium-3 from the Moon to power quantum computing and fusion energy on Earth. He holds multiple advanced degrees in aerospace engineering, flight test engineering, space studies, aerospace medicine, planetary geology, and mining engineering. A former trauma and F-16 flight surgeon, Salvino brings operational and technical experience to space resource development. Under his leadership, LH3M has built the largest global helium-3 patent portfolio, signed multiple letters of intent with major aerospace companies, and established partnerships across the lunar technology ecosystem. The company is now preparing to raise its next round of capital to accelerate hardware development and expand its position in this emerging $17-trillion lunar helium-3 economy. Salvino has delivered over 25 invited talks in the past year to scientific, engineering, and investor audiences worldwide, advancing awareness of helium-3 as the foundation of a new era in energy and computing.
